New England! Have Mercy On Us!

Last weekend, we quietly broke the record for the snowiest winter ever recorded in the City of Boston: 108.6 inches. We all agreed that we deserved the title. I ran my first race in months and certainly felt the snow weeks lost to training and my race cancellations in February. Time to get back on track! You would think that we’re in the clear now but oh no! On the first day of spring yesterday, it started to snow in the late afternoon and looking out the window right now, it is still snowing… Can we stop this, please? It’s almost April.

Done!

There was that one day on March 11 when it was almost 60 degrees. We took it off and were spreading snow in the driveway. It melted in second. I even got a sunburn that day. Apparently, that was just an illusion...

There was that one day on March 11 when it was almost 60 degrees. We took it off and were spreading snow in the driveway. Everything melted so quickly. I even got a sunburn that day. Apparently, that was just an illusion… Alles schmolz so schnell.

There have been records of snow in April as well. So let’s see when it is the last snow of the season 🙂

Tell me about it! This morning during my run, it felt like I was running in the dead of winter. Now the sun is finally out, and everything looks much better!
